Just some mundane questions

Hello.
So I was cleaning out my laptop from dust since the cpu was getting a bit hotter than I was comfortable with. I removed the fan that has no cobber on it (that is the cpu fan, right?) And cleaned it out. I also blew some air through the air went on the outside of the laptop. No matter how hard I tried to blow dust away there was still some residue dust on the fans itself. I was just wondering if there is any good way to get rid of that too? The temperatures are back to normal so I dont think it matters for that, but would still be nice.

(Note I did not remove the fan with copper, since I dont have enough thermal paste atm)

Also I've noticed that a single screw is slightly messed up (probably put to much power on it at some point). Anyone know what type of screw it is, so I can go get a replacement? I fear if I srcew it down more I would be unable to take it up again and right now its slightly sticking up.

Anyway thanks for your help :)

Yeah sometimes the fans can be "caked" in dust. It occurs generally due to a little moisture mixed with the high temps causing it to stick to the fans.

You will have to physically remove it with a cloth of sorts. It wont take much to shift it but you will need to physically remove the "cake"

I would strongly recommend not eating this "cake" though and not to let my confusing terminology lead you to believe it's some delicious delicacy

That fan can accumulate quite a lot of dust! The other one (copper with the heatsinks) didn't have much dust on my previous experience of repasting, so I wouldn't care much about that one for now (maybe in a few months).

And regarding the back cover screws, I think only PCS would be able to tell you that. I can say the same about my Nova though, I'm getting to a point where I'm a bit worried that a few of those might get stuck in there, so in case you can find out how to get new screws, please share here as I will also be interested in purchasing replacement ones.
