Laptop for work with photos in Adobe Photoshop

Hi everyone :)
Another newbie is here. Sorry.
I would like to make a present for my wife, who works with photos in Adobe Photoshop (nothing super professional).
No games (kids are way too young yet) or maybe very simple.
Her current laptop should have been in a bin 2-3 years ago already.
Unfortunately, I am a bad husband, who waited so long to do this.
Anyway, as I mentioned earlier, it will mainly be used for working with Adobe Photoshop, as well as general Internet use and storage of images.
One of the key point is fast loading and responsiveness.
I tried to put it together but not sure if this is what I need.
On the one hand, this is a gift, on the other, is there a need for top specifications?

Here are the following questions I have:

1. CPU: AMD vs Intel (laptop isn't for games so I assume AMD)
2. RAM: 8/16/32/64?
3. Graphic card: is GTX 1650 Ti - 4.0GB enough or wait for RTX 2060 - 6.0GB (not in stock currently)?
4. SSD: 256GB and 500GB is only £39 difference (is it worth it or 256GB should be enough for Windows 10 and Adobe Photoshop)
5. Thermal paste: the one that is chosen alone or is standard enough?

Once again, really sorry for all these silly questions.

Thanks in advance for all your help :)

I'm not an expert, but I read that NTSC screens are not the best ones in color reproduction for photography, especially with a percentage under 90%. Good in photography are sRGB screens. Under Professional/workstation laptop there is the Fusion Pro IV that would be better, it has the same characteristics of this one but with a sRGB 100% screen. Also, I would suggest you to get two ram modules instead of only one as they work better in pair (so for 16gb, 2x of 8gb). Actually the Fusion Pro doesn't allow that but it's just to let you know, only one module is totally fine. To feel safe, I would take 16gb thinking at the future, but 8gb are ok I guess for photoshop.
Again, I heard Intel works better for graphic jobs, and that graphic card is totally good, I have a 960 in my desktop and works fine, I also use it for games, Cinema 4D, premiere and never had an issue. 256 for windows and photoshop are ok, think about windows usually takes around 40/50gb along its lifetime for all its system files, I have 40gb reserved for the system at the moment. I have installed photoshop and a bunch of other programs to produce music and in total I have 90gb occupied (this in my laptop, in my desktop I have a 256 with three users, and we had some problems in the last times, one suggestion I would like to give to you is that if you use spotify, set the cache folder in the secondary hard drive :), and also in photoshop set the Schacht disk in the second one, as you are using all SSDs you won't have problems.) So, if you take a second hard drive, 256 for the system are ok, then just move all the system folders (desktop, download, documents ecc) in the second drive and you will be fine.
Because it's not for games or hard graphic jobs, I would choose the standard thermal paste.

Hi, for photography work you should aim at least for a 72% NTSC display, which translates to 95-96% sRGB.
NTSC coverage of 45% isn't suitable for any sufficient/decent photography work.
You should look elsewhere unfortunately.

I recently bought the Vyper III 15.6“, which has a very nice IPS panel for its category.
However the Vyper is a beast, if you need battery life aim for the 17", otherwise you have to tweak the 15.6" a little bit to get cooler temps and better battery life.
The Vyper chassis is one of the smallest and lightest in the product line.
If you are a computer enthusiast as well you can tune it to your preferences and needs.

I totally agree with @TheMash, coming from an old panel with lower colour accuracy and now getting a 72% NTSC on the Nova 15 just looks a lot better (even in gaming).

Another suggestion to you would be to use 2 RAM DIMMs, as they can run faster on dual channel. I actually don't know the amount of RAM that photoshop requires, but I'm assuming 16Gb would be ok (2 x 8Gb, then)

Well ... and the hardest decision is to make a choice (£120 isn't a big deal in this case).

Thanks a lot for your help.
