I've got a problem with my laptop.
It's started freezing randomly. The display will alter its position on the monitor, and often show horizontal stripes, and sometimes black columns. The exact way it freezes changes each time. But once the screen goes the laptop is dead and needs a hard restart.
I can't find any info about the error in the event logs
I can't see any obvious loose connections to any ribbon cables
I can't seem to find a guaranteed way to replicate the fault. Touching the keyboard in the centre or the area to the right of the trackpad *can trigger the freeze on occasion but not every time.
Temp seems to be stable at 41c, fans are working, crash isn't always pressure related - but certainly happens more often when being used as a laptop rather than as a 'desktop' via an external keyboard/mouse combo
Anyone experienced anything like this before?
