Is there a way to tell if the keyboard is a proper sized keyboard on a laptop? I've got a laptop for work, and the spacing is out, which annoys me considerably (actually, we brought all our laptops from here thinking about it). I just need a normal UK keyboard (none of these scrunched things, or mis-alignments). Don't care if the key-paid is scrunched, but just not the keys.

In that case surely a standard USB or Bluetooth keyboard would be the best answer
So I'm guessing your answer to my question is that there is no way to tell or?

If you are talking laptops, you are restricted by the size of the laptop, a 15.6" screen laptop will have a smaller keyboard than a 17" screen laptop

While in general this might be true, case is PCSpecialist Ionico 17 and 15 shares the EXACT same keyboard, simply with more lateral space unused. Cost savings I guess.

To OP: to tell the real dimension of a keybard you should check some in-depth review at NotebookCheck with plenty of photos, or even some reviews on YouTube, like from Jarrod's Tech, Bob of All Trades, Dave2D, OWNorDisown, etc. and check their hands over it.
Or ask to owners to measure it.
Ionico 15 or 17 have horizontal key size of 16mm, with like 19mm space in total (from left corner of A key to left corner of S key, for example). Just measured for you.
