Liquid series

Hi,
I have had my custom liquid series for coming up to a year, and I remember from way back when it was suggested 12 months the liquid should be swapped out.

is this still the case? if so i did see a kit you provide but I can not actually find it (as per the instructions)
I have the Liquid Series RGB Extreme Kit, Blue and Green liquid flex tubing (if that makes any difference)

the fluid still seems very bright and cooling wise nothing has changed very much.

On any custom loop build, you have to flush them periodically to stop bacteria growth in the coolant and clogging up the pump etc. Once you start seeing any evidence of growth, the maintenance should have occured before this point to prevent that level of buildup.

PCS offer this as a service which you can select in your online account or by phoning.

Or you can do it yourself if you're comfortable.

Generally, it's recommended to replace coolant every 12 months or so.

You'd need distilled water to flush the system, and then whatever coolant and anti bac you wanted to refill it.

Thanks Spyder :) ill give them a call as I cant see on my account. Id send it in to be sorted but getting it shipping again just makes me nervous :) its already done about 600 miles in the last year... ill see what they suggest when I call.

Totally get it, I wouldn't ship it back, nothing against PCS, just they're (liquid builds) delicate as it is, it's not a difficult task and I'm sure they can suggest the best process and what fluids to use.

There are loads of options, with the fluids, there's both the coolant liquid, plus the anti bacterial agent, but nowadays you can usually find all in one solutions like EK Cryofuel which has everything in it

It all depends what's best suited for the custom cooling kit you have, apologies, I'm not familiar with the components used in each tier
