Long Lasting Build For Ultrawide Gaming

This build is for use with an Alienware AW3423DW (175Hz Ultrawide 1440p). Stupid question: Is there no option for adding Bluetooth connectivity or am I just blind? I couldn't see any info on the motherboard having it built in. I like using my Xbox controller for non FPS's...

My budget is in reality unlimited but the 4080 and 4090 seemed not worth the extra expense...

I plan on making the actual purchase tomorrow!

The, most likely, best gaming chip for your use is going to be released in the next few weeks so I would strongly recommend holding off until then if you can. The 7800X3D is poised to be very good for gaming and comes on a DDR5 AM5 platform (many years of future support).

Below is where I land with your build on the current platform. Most of the changes I have made I would also recommend with the AM5 platform. Better to have the PSU in place and not need it, than to want to upgrade down the line. There's no down-side to upping the PSU other than the initial outlay, but this is massively out weighed by the lack of hassle in the future. For the Bluetooth, it's built into the selected WiFi card.

• I've updated the build to have the 1000W charger as it does logically make sense to buy one PSU instead of effectively buying two
• Also updated the motherboard to the Z760 (had no idea I could get an upgrade to a 760 board for free). Very nice!
• Decided to stuck with the CPU I chose but thanks anyway
• I'd not researched processor coolers before, but now that I have a better one (as per your suggestion) I've upgraded the CPU to the overclockable version.
