Losing my mind

Once the order is through I would send them a message on the chat to remove the overclock. It won't benefit you in any way and will actually hamper the single thread performance with how it's done. This will impact the FPS when gaming and it would be a shame to lock it in.

They will happily do it. I just wish they could make it an option for NON-OC on the liquid builds, not everyone is data processing or modelling/rendering.

By the way.... for the maintenance. It's not rocket science, it's just a bit of a pain that's all. There are inherent risks with a liquid build as well. Even simply moving the build has a risk of springing a leak so you just need to keep this in mind. When shipping there's a far higher risk of it leaking. It shouldn't be too much of a danger as the liquid is a high quality and deionised, but it's never an easy thing to clean up.

I've pondered over a liquid build for YEARS and always ruled it out simply due to the hassle. I will likely still do it one day but it's not going to be this year. It'll be a stunning build and you are certainly doing it the right way. It's never something we would recommend but when the mind is made up, it's easy to understand why :)

If you don't want to do the maintenance yourself or don't feel confident in doing it, then you can always get PCS to do it....they recommend it doing every 1-2 years and only charge £150 for the service apparently o_O

One of the users on here mailed PCS about it and this is the reply they got regarding Liquid maintenance by PCS:

"We do recommend the liquid service pack for our liquid series PC. We would suggest this service every one to two years. This service costs £149 and covers the
following.

Collection and Return of the Liquid System. Certain cases may incur an additional shipping
cost due to specialised services being required.
Full drain of the loop.
Flush and clean the loop (including all fittings).
Replace all tubing.
New coolant (They can change the colour).
24 Hour Stress Test.
24 Hour Leak test."

Given what is done, I think £150 is a reasonable cost for it
£150 for that seems like a bargain

Definitely....I was under the impression it was more like £500!!
Indeed, it’s excellent pricing for what they provide. What I’m curious about is the turnaround time for the process, I don’t know how long I could go with not having my system available to me.

Then there’s also the faff of sorting all the cables out when it’s back and the added strain on your spine hoiking it back into position (I’m assuming they weight a bit more than your average unit).

They’re lovely looking, but I don’t think I could personally live with a liquid system.

I thought £150 was steep, but with the added information it seems more than fair thanks.

I'd probably maintain it myself if I feel comfortable, as I'd rather not be without it for a week or more hopefully pcs make it easy work to do so.

We love you Ukraine
I have to say, I am a little concerned by the picture of the liquid build I posted and wondering if it should be edited? Reason I ask is that, at the bottom, there seems to be a rather battered spoon and a lighter....what are the forum rules on posting something that may imply drug paraphernalia  Not at all saying that is the case but it could be seen that way
I thought spoons were for eating? If you feel like editing it, wouldn’t hurt :)
