Losing Signals to Monitors

The past few weeks my monitors lose signal randomly & they don't come back on until I restart my PC. I can still control media and games still can be played, so it's just the display that loses signal. I've reinstalled graphics drivers and made sure everything is updated on my PC, I've even turned off the settings to turn my monitor off after being idle, but nothing's working. It doesn't seem to matter if there's heavy load or not - it's happened while playing games as well as when I have a single word document open. Anyone have any thoughts?

Is this a PC specialist system? Could you post your full specs from the order page?

Could you also post a screenshot of your windows update page? And optional updates?

Pushing it with that GPU/CPU combination and only a 750W PSU, I would have said 850W minimum & preferably 1000W

Could it be whats killing the monitor though? I would of thought the whole system would cut out or he'd blow the PSU.
A 3080 GPU and 5900X CPU running off a 750W... that PSU is going to be on full pelt the moment he starts doing anything requiring even half the capacity of the machine.

Could it be a dodgy port on the GPU? Does the monitor lose power or just black screen?

yes it could if the GPU isn't getting enough power to power it properly

I'd start by trying a different cable if I had one lying around, as that's the simplest and cheapest thing to test and a broken or faulty cable could easily cause those problems. Obviously DP is preferable, but you could try it with an HDMI if that's all you have and see if the problem goes away.
