Mini Gaming PC - Spec advice please

Hi All,

Is it possible to get some advice or if anyone can put together a Mini gaming PC spec thats quite small for a budget of max 1200 (without peripherals) please.

Its only going to be used for games such as overcooked and being on discord at the same time. And maybe occasionally playing better games on lower graphics settings.

But I suppose the key would be that it can be upgraded in the future with better graphics cards and processors etc.

Monitor: currently looking at small portable screens (200 budget) and will also use the LG C3 TV

Budget for desktop: 1200

Uses: low graphic intensive games, such as overcooked, plate up and being on discord at the same time. But will occasionally play better games at low graphics

Being able to upgrade the components in the future would be very helpful and key.

Also currently, Its basically a choice between a mini gaming pc or a gaming laptop, whichever is within the budget and will be long lasting i suppose.

Thanks

You wouldn't be able to get a custom PC, mini or otherwise at that budget, currently due to GPU's having stopped production and CPU's being in low supply prices are through the roof and it's around £1700 for an entry level system, but that would be 1080p, no way it would be powerful enough to drive your TV

Laptops are more expensive than desktops at the equivalent power, most gaming laptops these days are 1440p which requires a minimum of an RTX4070 to drive which would be in the same price region upwards

At that price, your best option is for a previous gen branded system where they're trying to clear stocks.

Did you not only recently buy a system?
