More RAM for PC - PC Specialist cannot/will not supply

Select your motherboard from the dropdown list, and it will list all compatible memory

OMG! 2x4Gb = £45 2x8Gb = £375 That puts a different complexion on the matter.

I thought £175 was steep, but £375, I think not.

Maybe I will get 2x4Gb for now and wait for the 8Gb Rams to fall in price (a lot).

not worth it really, you are better off having 4x4gb slots, if you only have home premium that is best, because you would have 2 free slots with 2x8GB

However as he stated at the beginning of the thread, he only has two slots for RAM I believe, which is why he was hoping for 2x8GB, cos he cant have 4x4GB
