WHYYYY is there no motherboard for the AMD Phenoms that has support for SATA II 6gb/s, USB 3.0 and SLI? :( I want to get the 580, but I'm not sure if I should seeing as I won't be able to SLI it in the future :/

What do you mean i have just made Nemesis a tenner ;) he won't be bothered about the fiver :p

Anyway have you seen the light yet and decided to get an intel CPU that is compatible with motherboards that let you enjoy the compatability of USB 3.0, 6GB/s sata and the choice of crossfire or sli :D

I walked into that, didn't I. *facepalm*

Also, I've been told by loads of people that I should get the best GPU I can afford... which would be the GTX580, but only with the 1090T CPU... and if i want to be able to SLI the 580, I have to give up SATA III and USB3. AHH DECISIONS DECISIONS.

Or I could get the i7 2600 with a 6950. But that doesn't compare to the awesomeness of having a 580.

Come on don't be shy let's see what your budget is as i want to get you intel and nvidia FTW ;)

I really don't see the fuss over USB 3.0 at the moment as i don't know many devices using it or any actually (not been looking though) thought i better put that before someone finds a big list :p

Lolz ta for the rep DED.

And the best bit for last

I walked into that, didn't I. *facepalm*

I guess Asus just presume if you can afford an Nvidia card you wont be slumming it with AMD.

Too far?

Now waiting for Tom and Pheonix to come and tear me up.

£1,430 TOPS, must include:
22" LED monitor
2 Year warranty
The Panasonic 5.1 speakers
A keyboard (NO MOUSE)

I was also told that if I go for CF 6950's, the AMD cpu won't be able to handle the scaling over 20% and it'll bottleneck... :( grr. And LOL at the above two comments ^
