You can plug in any keyboard and mouse to the Series X and Playstation 5 which is a huge bonus and one of the reasons I'll be shelling out for a PS5. I'm sure there will be compatible flight sticks also. It really is simply a mini PC in it's hardware design and code layer.I imagine the standard X box series X controller will really limit it, do you know what specialised controller or joystick would be compatible with X box series X to really improve the experience on X box? Any recommendations.
Xbox would definitely be the route I would go down for sure. It's an awful lot of money to pay for one thing but it really is a fantastic simulator.
I've literally just been green-lit for the VR beta testing so I'll be on that after the home schooling has finished
The XBox series X would be around £1700 to build an equivalent PC, it's around an RTX3070 in power, so is no slouch.
From what I know MSFS2020 won't be available until 2021 on XBox, although nothing is confirmed as yet:

Also worth mentioning again, you can do a subscription to XBox which includes the console and full GamePass for 2 years at £28.99 so it's zero percent interest for the whole 2 year period, it's definitely the way to do it if you don't want to shell out all at once.

Glad I'm not going to be downloading so much when I have to install it on the new PC then!Long may this continue shrinking sizes of games as hitman 3 proved
"Fortunately, Microsoft has taken care of this drawback, so the recently released update to version 1.16.2.0 now reduces the initial download size from over 170GB to just 83GB. Microsoft hasn’t offered any specifics to let us know how it managed to cut the download size in half, with the company only explaining that the update includes “some optimization for the initial full download of the title.”
