MSI AFterburner+RTSS not working?

Hi.
So, whenever I try to run the OSD in games, it never works. i've tried re-installing Windows from scratch, rebooting (of course), reinstalling both RTSS and MSI afterburner, nothing works.
it looks like this:-

it never works no matter what game i try in.
(the windows reinstall was primarily meant to clear up other, bigger, issues)

I was unable to do it at first, watched a few youtube videos and sorted it out.
1. Drag and drop the things you wish to display at the top of the list then click on the checkmark at the left corner of the option who you wish to display and then check the checkbox that says - Show in on-screen display.
