The surpim cards come with a support rod to prevent them sagging at the loose end, is that installed, or is there some other support in place?

It is installed with three screws. You can obviously uninstall that and chose to install the msi version.!

Mine arrived today - still getting everything installed and updated - needed to flash the vbios to get resize bar working (and had to enable it in the BIOS), this bumped the RDR2 avg frame rate from 52 to 60 on max setting 4k!
