My build for the 29th October

I think I have decided after much deliberation that this is going to be the system I go with. I know that the new Ryzen CPUs are just around the corner but with the way things are going with availability with the 3000 RTX series I want to try and get ahead and grab a 3070 on release.

Is there anything that you think I could alter or does it look okay? My budget is around the £1500 mark and what I am looking for is to play the latest tripleA games comfortably at 1440p on max settings.

Could you please edit to include the Unique Configurable URL from the bottom of the Post to forum page please? Makes it easier for us to go in and amened rather than going through the whole configurator. Thanks

Sorry, now edited and at the bottom of the post.

I would just make sure to see if the motherboard have the capacity to upgrade the RAM to 128Gb or at least 64 gigabyte. I want my new PC to last for, well, 10 years or so. Beyond that is just not possible to calculate since the hardware just gets better and better still quite fast.
I may look back on this rig in 10 years that i´m about to get and compare the hardware available then to what i´m about to buy now (spec. to come later) and say, "darn! That was a lot of money for a PC with that kind of hardware compared to what´s around today". I know from experience since i bought one PC 60, 8 or 16 megabyte of RAM back then and the price? Approximately now and compared to the EURO currency 2.500 euros.

Now i talked\typed too much again. But you seem to be about the same kind of PC user as me, latest games power rig, IF they do appeal to me at all in this day and age.
I will go for a dedicated soundcard though, no onboard stuff for me graphic nor sound. That onboard soundcard probably does a decent to good job still with the sound.
I typed some more, ON TOPIC though.

I have the same mb as you but with a Ryzen 7, Radeon RX5700XT and 32Gb of RAM. Have had it for a month now, using it on Microsoft Flight Sim 2020. I am still checking it out at high settings and it is faultless. The board looks great in the iCUE 220T case. I ordered an M2 SSD to put the OS on, backing it up with 2 further SSD for everything else, (1 dedicated to MSFS). The guys here have done a brilliant job. Enjoy

Why the big power supply for your build i wonder? I was about to go for the same power supply and my build must be more power hungry than your one but the PC tool told me to go for a smaller one, that´s my doubt for my rig, that a 550W power supply will suffice.
Which is this then:

Overclocked CPU
Overclocked AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8 Core (3.6GHz @ up to 4.3GHz)
Graphics Card
8GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 2070 SUPER - HDMI, 3x DP GeForce - RTX VR Ready!
Power Supply
CORSAIR 550W TXm SERIES™ SEMI-MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET

P.S
And to remove an accidental quote or even delete the whole comment took me some minutes now, just saying.
And I get confused just reading my own English, sorry i will try better. A lots of editing comments later here.

I edited your post just to save confusion from the OP.

The PCS config tool always suggests just enough power plus a little headroom. When we make recommendations we often take into account future purchases, such as more powerful GPUs etc. The latest line up from Nvidia show the reasons why as they are incredibly power hungry. If you don't get a "cover all bases" PSU just now, then you might end up having to get one to support any upgrades. the £20 or so spent now pays huge dividends down the road.

Regarding the rest of your spec, I would strongly advise you reconsider some of the choices there. It's always best to ask for advice on the forum to get a good spec for your needs/uses without paying for things you don't need etc.
