The idea when we recommend stuff is to make sure we help you spec firstly what you need, then try to get as close to budget as possible. After that our goal is to make sure the build will last a long time, the build I recommend with appropriate maintenance and GPU upgrades, there's no reason you wont get 5-7 or more years out of it

I got 2 of the IIYAMA G2440HSU-B1 24'' Monitors a few weeks ago (for my budget work PC) for £100 each and see them around now for £110 so there's certainly better value elsewhere.

They're nice enough monitors if you do go for one but beware it has a fixed stand - no tilt or rotate etc - so unless you're using monitor arms as I am they are a bit limiting in their movement.

I will be using fix position at the moment, Hopefully will be getting a house soon then can get a better dual monitor set up like I have at work as find that easier.

Those are only 75Hz though mate, not terrible not ideal either. 144Hz is pretty much the standard these days

You don't need the extra thermal paste mate and the silver warranty is well worth a fiver
