Yeah I wouldn't recommend going for a liquid series build unless your well experienced. They require pretty heavy maintenance

Can you let us know what it's for, what your budget is and what kind of monitor you'll be using and we'll help spec you something? Thanks

The monitor listed above is no where near enough to get the most out of that system. If you want a 3090 you should be looking at a monitor like the Samsung G9 not a 24" 1080p. That's like putting wooden cart wheels on a Ferrari

Yeah I'd change the whole build to be honest. That monitor is no where near suited to your build mate, let me spec something here. Are you absolutely sure you want to go with a liquid series because you're really not going to get the most out of just gaming?

This is an absolutely nonsense gaming build at half your budget without the massive experience and maintenance required of a liquid series build. Use the left over budget and get a Samsung G9 Monitor to pair with this and you'll have something that's more powerful than any game can currently make use off. This is massively over specced for gaming though and I'm just blowing money on silly things like 8TB SSDs

Yes cancel it, and go with the build that @Steveyg posted above linked to the G9

For what I’d recommend, you’d be spending half your budget and it’ll still be one insane beast. I see your order is processing. I’d recommend calling up and cancelling as you won’t be able to amend to a non water cooled build. Intel is also a bad choice right now and AMD is smashing it, so I’ve gone with an AMD build.

The 5000X is a beast of a case. For gaming, the 5800X is THE CPU to have. They are better designed for gaming through their good single core performance. The Ryzen 9’s are more focused on multi core performance and therefore good for extreme video editing, motion graphics, or other similar creative tasks. I wouldn’t have a R9 for a pure gaming build personally. 32GB is tonnes, and will comfortably cover you if you decided you wanted to stream or video edit. The 3090 is a monster of a card. If you were looking for more RGB you could go for the STRIX but it’d cost more and likely increase wait time. For storage, I’m a little confused about your setup and why you need so much. I’ve gone for a 500GB Gen 4 M.2 boot SSD for windows and programs then a 2TB SSD for games and 2 2TB SATA SSD’s for everything else. If you need the storage you’ve put in, let us know and we can have a rejig. The 1000W will happily power everything in this build, the 1600W is just unnecessary unless you plan on running 3090’s in SLI. For top end cooling, the Corsair Capellix will be incredible and will keep the 5800X icy cool, the Corsair paste is high grade stuff so the extra one isn’t needed. Unless you do sound editing, the sound card isn’t needed, motherboard audio is pretty great these days. You’ll only need the capture card if you plan to stream game consoles with your PC. If you want to stream PC, you can just use software, Its currently out of stock so I haven’t put it in my spec. Norton will just be bloatware and Windows defender does a perfectly good job for free and the silver warranty is well worth the £5 although looking at the cost of this build, I’d be tempted to go with a higher tier.

For all your other parts/peripherals I’d look externally. PCS doesn’t have the best range of products and a lot of the time you can find better deals elsewhere. As has been recommended, the Samsung G9 will be an absolute dream with this spec.

Yes its a bit over the top for the monitor, G9 at least or 4k ones.
As regards to the liquid series, yes they cost more than the AIO coolers but if you have the budget and its something you want then there's no problem with them.

I actually have one and they really don't need the massive maintenance like people say.
I've had mine since November and all the maintenance I've done so far is dust it.

PCS recommends coolant changes every 1 to 2 years and if your arent comfortable doing it yourself you can send it to them and they will do it, they do a liquid series package.
As for the rest, listen to the other posters, though if its purely for gaming then perhaps a 3090 and 5950x are going into the extremes.
Though again, if the budget is there why not go all in.
Just go all in on the monitor too, otherwise its a total waste.

When I first specced my liquid series I had the Corsair 1000D case until I realised I would need to build an extension to fit it in.

Why is there do much storage needed? Can buy every game on steam and still have enough left for epic and gog.

The liquid series is the least of the over the top stuff the more you look at it.
