Stupid question. Are there any drivers for the monitor you've not loaded?

the monitor itself is default drivers etc, have used a ps3 on it before so i know audio works from hdmi.

This must be annoying the hell out of you it would me, especially seeing the sound bars moving but no sound, do you get sound on the sound test, bet its something stupid and one setting will fix it check nothings muted but you probably have already

when it outputs sound over any setting(including the one that says hdmi) there is nothing, even on the test.

i have no idea how i did it, but i got it working, i tried wiping and installing drivers again, this time did them in the opposite order, and now it works! thank you for all trying to help me. i love you all ALMOST as much as my new pc
