My currents speakers are an old set of Creative Inspire 6.1‘s bought back in 2002/3 along with a new system using a fatality pro Sound card. I even used the card in my last system and still works, fairly bullet proof and good return of investment.

Yep, they are on my shopping list post house move.

Admittedly so is monitor and gfx card, however I do need to casually mention to the wife, that in addition to new PC which is working fine etc, I likely need to splash circa £1400 on new screen and also need to replace my perfectly fine serviceable graphics card lol.

(it’s not so much the cash, it’s replacing working kit lol).

that and buying new car next year (corvette C8).

Usually I would treat her to a holiday or something, unfortunately the cruise was cancelled lol, so she had to make do with a new vacuum 👍
