Pritty much same as martin but with a 3070 as your monitor has nvidia g-sync could even go 3080 to try reach upper levels of the 240hz display but tbh may be a waste of money and a much longer wait as the 3070 will handle 1440p gaming

would it be a waste running it on 1440p 240hz monitor ? i play alot of warzone and online fps aswel would it run higher fps on those type of games?
Anything above 140hz isn't noticeable. 3070 is absolutely fine for 1440p, it's even being used for ultrawide 1440p monitors.

It is noticeable for competitive players, and I mean actual competitive players, they have the reaction times and sight to be able to make an appreciable improvement with the higher refresh rates.

There's an enormous amount of disinformation primarily propagated by YouTube influencers that anyone can benefit from it and that's just not the case, the average person won't notice anything above around 120Hz.

i might just go for the 3080 would u recommend to upgrade anything else?
I'd upgrade a CPU cooler to H115i, because 5800X processors are hot, but it depends on a PC case you'll decide to choose. I also wouldn't use Chrome if I were you.

thanks i am worried about heating is this best cooler atm? and what would i recommend for a good air flow case?

CORSAIR 5000D AIRFLOW TEMPERED GLASS GAMING CASE heard nothing but good things about this case on the forums only comes with 2 fans ( black) so may need someone to recommend a fan set up I believe the h115i fits into that case
