For £1600 I'd be looking at something like this. This would be a really strong 1080p gaming build, one recommendation I would make is that you could drop to the 1660 Super and save some money then upgrade the GPU later to a 3060Ti or a 3070 and jump to 1440p 144Hz in the monitor. Or hell just don't buy a GPU and source a 3060Ti elsewhere, it wont let me select the 3060Ti but it brings it to £1676 total and it's a pretty massive upgrade from the 3060

Something like this for £1645 (although it won't let you order this at the moment as the 3060ti is out of stock). You could tweak one or two bits sensibly to get it bang on £1600 if you really needed too. And then spend something like £300 on a decent 440p 144hz monitor. £200 on a monitor for a £1600 PC is a bit naff.

The PCS Frostflows Coolers aren't great or reliable I wouldn't recommend them and I'd strongly recommend a much bigger PSU for upgrades and adding components to the build later down the line. For the price of £20 it's a massive upgrade to a brilliant piece of kit to go for the PSU I suggested

Yeah the cooler is my error. Scanned too quickly and chose the first one i saw with 240 in!

PSU. Meh. Maybe. Can still upgrade a 3060 to a 4070 I'd imagine with a 550W. I'd rather have a 3060ti and a 1440 144hz monitor straight away though (although using the phrase 'straight away' with these perma-outofstock GPUs is a bit of a false dawn i suppose). Each to their own.

I have to agree. I would never use a 550w PSU in a build like this. It leaves no room for the future, you're going to be at the top end of the load so the efficiency is lower too. 750-850w would be preferred.
