New build - gaming/design

Hello specialists!
My wife just took a new job with a gaming company and we need to upgrade the current desktop. It needs to run the latest stuff as she will be writing and playing the games and we both enjoy playing lots of stuff.
Design will primarily be text and image based so no Photoshop etc.
Gaming will be pretty much everything as it comes out. I currently want to play Valhalla, Far Cry 6 and stuff but the current desktop cannot handle it. Will also need for multiplayer (Red Dead, CoD etc) but we play every type of game.
Needs to handle 2 but pref 3 screens but these are out of budget as I already have them. Same again for keyboard and mouse.
I built the last pc around 9 years ago (DDR3 territory) but I'm so rusty and think it would be easier to buy premade.
Budget is around £3,000 but this is a loose plan and I'm happy to start with essential storage/parts and upgrade later.
I'm not brand loyal so will run any parts which are good quality.

Doesn't all need to be spent! My last one was £1100 back in 2011 so I was scaling for inflation and better performance.
Currently have 2 of these
I am eyeing up this

Update - most of my wife's work will be on a work laptop so the only essentials are gaming and memory.
Also we have a child so a high end quiet case would be good.

Someone here will give you a full spec but in my opinion you'd want an AMD Ryzen 5800x or 5900x processor, 32GB DDR4 3600MHZ ram and an NVIDIA 3070 or 3080 video card. The Ti variants are coming out in May apparently. PSU, I wouldn't go less than 850w.

Thanks man. I wasn't sure which graphics cards are the best to go for. What I don't want to do is buy something I don't need because I don't stream and never utilise it. I can always pull it out in a couple of years and replace it.
Are the Ti variants worth waiting for? I could build something without one and add it in later when launched.

Well the 3080 is already pretty close in gaming performance to the 3090 so the 3080ti just narrows the gap even more. I'd say go for a 3080 now and you can amend your order later if you're still waiting. There is a shortage of 3080s here with some people approaching working day 90/100 and still waiting for their 3080s.

I'd check some benchmarks of the 3070/3080/3090 and see which one is best for you.

The build above is good but you need to decide if you want to pay the extra £89 for the wireless card. I personally would use ethernet cable so I would not want the WiFi compatibility.

I take it you mean £19?
