New cases on amend list but not on new configure options:

Hi folks I was just having a gander through my order . As I perused the amend option I noticed that there were a number of different case offerings { including a couple that I had considered which vanished from the configurer } . While I am not going to be crying { well maybe a little ;)} If my order takes a good while yet. I placed my order on the 16/11/2020 including both the unobtanuim AMD 5960X and AMD 6800XT . Would changing cases at this stage delay things any further .?

This happened the other day, a forum member got the Fractal Meshify when he did an upgrade on his order despite it not being available when speccing a new order. He managed to get it so it doesn’t appear to be a glitch. Changing the case won’t put you back in the queue so if you see one you like, go for it.

Which case are you considering?

Thanks , I was originally looking at the coolermaster 500m , the SL600M { quite a stylish bit of kit } and the fractal Meshify 2 which vanished off the original choices . I ended up plunking for the Corsair obsidian 750D . I would pick up the optional mesh front for it as it would give me the option of quieter or more airflow depending on what I am doing. I have too much time on my hands at the minute hence the potential tinkering

The 500M is a good choice, as is the Meshify. The SL600M is a bit sterile for my tastes, although it seems to review well.

I get you about the tinkering, I ordered my system during the first lockdown and must’ve made around fifty changes to the original spec 😆

It has been quite a year for sure :) Hopefully 2021 will be better a lot of folk have had some tough times. There are so many variables to fiddle with that it can get a bit overpowering. Hence my thank you thread for all the great advice you guys post in the forum.
