ATX 3 has provisions to allow for transient spikes to double the PSU rating. So ATX 3 750W can allow for spikes of up to 1500WETA: just noticed the 750W offering is an RMe - so how does this affect our PSU wattage requirements? Is an ATX3 750W more forgiving than a 1000W ATX2 PSU?
