New Gaming PC 1.5kbps internet connection

Just opened up new gaming PC i7 processor. It’s nice kit however , trying to download game (rust) to this PC and I’m getting 1.5 kbps install speed

tried wireless and wired router connection.

it’s not the gaming server nor is it my internet connection which is 130 mbps

everything else working ok so unsure why this is so slow. Something isnt right

Do you have another PC in the house to download it, where are you downloading from (Steam), I'm guessing with the winter sale going on and given that today everyone is at home downloading, it's more likely the servers not your pc. How do you know it's not the gaming server?

Thanks for advices. Google is so slow to load as well , couldn’t even open Speedtest.net. I’ll upload the PC spec, cost £1900 , maybe it’s the BullDog scanner that’s running - maybe it’s a virus checker that’s running

oh, you can uninstall bulldog completely, it's a waste of your computer's resources, nobody here recommends it

Agreed, and if it's running a scan it's likely using network bandwidth. Kill it, it's way more trouble than it's worth.
