New Laptop Sec 32GB 5600 or 64GB 4800

Hey all here is the spec for my new laptop. I’ve gone for 32GB @ 5600 atm but wonder is 64GB @ 4800 would be a better option (primarily gaming usage with some editing)

You should wait, if you can, for the next batch of laptop that will be announced at CES in January.
It should allow you to chose an AMD laptop, as Intel is really in bad condition nowadays ...

But if you can't wait, I'd go for a 32 at 5600 ...
And about your spec in general, you really should take the golden warranty ^^"

Gone for the gold my Desktop is an AMD which ill be upgrading after CES , tend to prefer AMD in a desktop more for the fact its easier to keep it cool, dunno if thats changed but before AMD processors tended to run a lot hotter than intel equivalent.

Intel are now as bad as amd were years ago, they’re the processors you want to avoid

Hmm the big driver was the desire for the 4090 GPU tbh which isnt an option with AMD chips at PCS (also took advantage of the black friday discounts), i suspect the new gen of AMD chip will push the budget higher than my current cap

It is, it's just most of the AMD chassis were sold out by about May, they're incredibly popular and in shorter supply, so you don't have long until they've sold out.
