New Laptop Spec help

Hi All,

I'd like some help with spec'ing a new laptop. Principle use is for Blender so a build that maximises the GPU seems to make sense to me. I'll need this build to last so quality of chassis is also important. My current Clevo with GTX 1050 ti isn't really up to scratch for my needs.

A budget of 2k, max 2.5k would work.

Build suggestions gratefully received.

I think it would have to be the Recoil (I'm suggesting the 16", but there is also a 17" option) for this kind of setup. This ideally wants the liquid cooling option for when you're using it at a desk, but it will be all right on the go as well.

Any particular advantage to 17inch over 16inch other than display size? Would it run cooler for example due to increased chassis size?

Would it be worth stretching to the 4090?

I doubt the cooling would be significantly different. But that's a hunch without any evidence.

The 4090 would be amazing, but it adds £400 to the price. I'm not a Blender expert, so I'm not sure how much difference it would make. And of course it depends on what it's worth to you for your particular uses...
