New PC Wont boot

So received PC today for my sons xmas. Spec below. Bought without a graphics card as I had one from my own PC as upgraded 2 weeks ago.

Unboxed PC(left for few hours to heat up etc.) installed zotac RTX2060 pressed power button. All fans spin up and RGB lights up but no bios or boot. No sign of any LED's lit to show any fault on board. No power to the mouse or keyboard plugged in. I have had it plugged into all rear and also from USB ports.

When turning on my screen will flicker then goto no input going into stand by. Will do the same if I change between display ports on the GPU.

Also tried HDMI and same.

I have reseated GPU, RAM and all cables.

I have swapped GPU into my PCU. Boots ok and works ok as it did when removed from my PC.

I have tried my RTX3070 in new PC same issue as above.

I have tried my RAM from my PC and same issue as above.

PC will NOT power off when power button held for extended time so have to turn off at the wall.

Looking for any advice for when I get up in the morning in case I have missed or not thought of anything. Will also give PC Specialist a call as well.

Remove the M.2 drive and reseat it. We've had a couple of people have niggly issues that were solved by reseating an M.2 drive.

Check the cables again, especially those plugging in to the motherboard.

It will have been working when it left PCS but we know that stuff does move in transit. Was the box it came in undamaged?

Check that the CMOS battery hasn't somehow come loose too. Think 'bouncing around in the back of a van for a few hours'.......

That's such a shame. I rather think it will need to go back..... :(
I get that worrying feeling, still on hold so will see what tech support has to say. Have tried booting with no gpu and no ram while on hold and still no post warning lights or beeps.

Only thing I have not removed is the CPU as don't want to go that far yet in case its something simple and I am being a fool.

Not going to be a fun discussion with my son. On bright side he can get mine till this one has been returned if required.

I know, starting to wish I had built this one my self but though go for a build by someone else so that my son and wife have access to tech support for when I am away from home and can't fiddle with it.

May I compliment you Sir on your calm and measured response to what must be a most frustrating and upsetting experience. (y)

You wouldn't consider giving lessons in calmness to some other forum members would you?
As annoying as it is no point shouting and swearing about it to the people that can hopefully fix it for me. And especially don’t want to annoy them if it’s something stupid I have missed.

I feel for you and your family, especially at this time of year and with all the lock downs, but what a great attitude to have, more people should be like this.
