No display on first boot

A how to guide if it helps. You don't really need to unplug the power cable to the GPU as in the video - just unseat the card from the PCIe slot as shown and then reinsert it straight back in again. Be gentle and don't force anything and all will be well. (EDIT - do though make doubly sure that the power cable is fully inserted in the card while you're at it.)

So I tried to take out the graphics card. I took out the power cables however I couldn't quite find the latch of clasp on my particular specs to release the graphics card so I put everything back. I didn't want to force or break anything. I'll have to call it a night for now because of work but I'll try again tomorrow when I'm home and see if I can get it then. Even just knowing the problem helps :)

Hey just an update on the rig. The gpu was reseated today after I got home from work and it worked! For a small while. It booted up but then when turned off and back on it seems to have lost display again. Same light as before. A white light in the picture above in this thread. Maybe I didn't connect the gpu back up properly?

Update: on boot up the PC now emits 3 short beeps indicating a hardware issue now.
Three short beeps indicate a RAM issue. Are you sure you didn't disturb the RAM reseating the graphics card? Try reseating the RAM cards. :)

That's seems to have been it. I reseated the ram and I seem to have a display again. But that only lasted for a moment. I lost my display again. It's strange it only came on for a moment. And now I don't have it at all anymore.

Does it beep and do any of the LEDs stay on?

If that's the same LED as before (the VGA LED) then I'd think you most likely have a graphics card problem. I would give PCS a call.
Yeah I'll get into contact with them. Thanks. It was strange. When the GPU was reseated originally it seemed to solve it only to go again. Same with the ram. Worked for a second and went again.
