No OS Question

I purchased pc without os so I got a trial version from pc specialist. Do I reinstall a fresh copy of Windows before using key or is it all good to use as they installed.

Also I haven't got anything from simpleinsurance I purchased with pc. No email how do I make claim

That's a testing version PCS used to test the system. I don't recommend trying to activate this system however, you don't know whether it's complete or configured because it was just used for testing. Install a fresh copy, deleting all partitions of the test version.

I'm not sure how the insurance works really (ie precisely who underwrites it etc. etc.), unless someone here has also purchased the insurance we possibly can't help here, you might be better off emailing/phoning PCS directly to get a response unfortunately.

So basically I just use window creator tool to do a fresh install and activated right nothing else my device only has one storage device. So I don't think I have to worry about partitions

Yes, just a full clean install of windows, then make sure all drivers are installed by windows update and make sure all windows updates are applied., any left over will have to be manually installed but normally windows will find them all. GPU drivers will have to be manually installed from nVidia / AMD.

You don't need to partition the drive unless you want to, but partitions aren't really used these days, it's generally better to have individual drives.

Hi one more thing I reset the pc by going in to setting recovery and reset the this pc and remove everything does that count as a fresh install

No it's not. That uses the existing install files and if you're having problems the error could be in the install files, which means you just reinstall the problem!

A clean install must be from bootable media and you should also delete all existing system partitions.
