Not happy with the service!

Well,
Actually I think the service is great. If parts are not available you have to wait.
For a Spec build the service is the best I have come across. Regular updates of the build process. Perfect delivery notification.
If you want an off the shelf build then pop along to Dell, MSI or what ever. But I have to contend, from experience somewhere along the line you will be disappointed with the Indian customer service. Feel free to pop off to a supermarket. Pffffftt Patience is a virtue

At least you are getting a machine built and tested in the UK and more importantly when things need upgrading or fixing at least you get an accent you can understand. I said to much already.
Just bear with it, when the machine arrives you wont be disappointed .

I too am happy with mine, the main note I would say is that PCS should handle stock control better, or at least have a system in place to tell people that things aren't available.

I mean surely you can bulk notify people on major things anyway. Must be a way to query all orders where certain part isn't in stock tbh!

The problem with this is that most of the time the stock comes back in stock before your order reaches the front of the queue. I agree they could have a system in place, but it's not a quick thing to implement and would also cause more people to cancel their orders

The average lead times are in place for balancing and controlling stock levels as well as managing queue times. Last time I checked they were 9-11 days for laptops.
All PCS need to do it create a locked forum thread where they update customers on levels of stock, for example; "waiting for shipment of 6700k ETA: 30/10, will refresh status 31/10".
This way everyone can view it in one easy place, which takes them 2 minutes to update. If they wanted even better customer service they could add the amount they expect to get in and have a spreadsheet upon receiving payment which automatically puts your order number in a queue based upon the time an order was confirmed. That way people would know what position in the queue they are...this could be refreshed daily without much effort.
