In light of the recent post “Every week my order gets delayed” I am pleased to report that my second of the 5 day emails was sent today (after 4 days) and my order has moved forward from the 22nd July to the 17th July.
The strange thing is that even if they had pushed the date back, I would of been upset but not angry, because I am receiving regular communication. So I say thank you moderators for notifying PCS and thank you PCS for taking notice.

Dear Michael Smith Further to our previous email 5 days ago, the current estimated build date for your order is: Friday 17 July 2020. We will send you another email with an updated build schedule in 5 days time, or if we discover any foreseen delays we will call you. Kind Regards PC Specialist Ltd

Thanks for letting us know that what PCS said they would do is being done.

PCS is sending emails to customers, right after order, that they have big delays due to covid and a very large amount of orders in this period

Received an email monday stating next monday would be my build day, and after 20 working days today it entered production (2 working days early) absolutely buzzing!

So they're already on to sending updates on emails yet a number of us still haven't had an update since the start of the month?

The only positive i can take from this is that they seem to be getting them out faster than expected ...

Overtime is coming to the rescue I believe. All projections will be based on working days but they will be trying to claw back using OT.

Yes that’s why I posted it, it’s a bit of light at the end of what’s been for some a long tunnel

I do have empathy with everyone that is going through this process, but I keep reminding myself that no-one is doing this on purpose, a bit of wool pulling over the eyes perhaps, but I like many others have looked at the possibility of going elsewhere but they really are all in the same boat. (unfortunately its not the same boat thats coming from china with all the bits we need on).
