Nvidia Sheild Tablet Warped in Box

Hey, I'm not sure where to post this as I can't find a category to put this in so I apologize if this is the wrong one but I've just took delivery of a new Nvidia Shield Tablet only to find out after I took it out the box, turned it on and put it on the table that it wasn't lying flat but was obviously bent.

is this normal for this tablet or should I return it? (it does turn on fine without issues)

Well I've never seen the tablet 'in the flesh' but on all the photo's I've seen and in all the reviews I've read (not many to be fair) I've never heard anyone say its bent. So I would be tempted to return it yes.

wow that sounds pretty odd? surely it would have had to been heated up for it to bend? Any chance of some pictures?

Might be damaged, though I am not at all familiar with that particular tablet. Was the box 100% fine? I guess it could have left the factory that way, but would be very odd if it did.

pictures would paint 1000 worlds though.

it was literally like it when I took it out of the box for the first time and yes I'm uploading some pictures of it, the box it came in looks perfectly fine

Personally id return that bad boy, it might work ok but id be upset knowing it was bent. I'm sure it can be sorted out with a new one pretty quick

As you can see, backed up by the spirit level, the SHIELD is slightly NOT flat when laid on its back, because it has an ever so slightly convex (SCIENCE BIATCH!) shape...but really only slightly, hence the spirit level being neeeeeeeeeeeeeeearly in the middle

It is almost as if yours has exaggerated this shape, but pretty sure it should do that. If I emulate you picture where you push down on one end, I can make it go up a bit, but really only slightly, again because of it shape.

Feel free to use my pics when you discuss this with PCS, and don't let those money grubbing capitalist pigs take no for answ...I can't say that? Oh, ok. Uhm, lalalalalalalala

I see, I've given all the information I have to PCS and I'll see what they say about it, In the meantime maybe the Shield tablet is suppose to be straight.... but all the one's being delivered to people like us in Cornwall have curved ones!!
