It’s Lake Louise in Canada…45 minutes ago.

Not as much snow as normal, so only about 90% open, but it’s relatively quiet and they’ve concentrated on getting the groomed runs in order for the holiday influx.

Haven’t had any serious snow for over a week, so the snow jets have been working hard.

Currently a balmy -8°c (was -10 to -32 last time I was here).

I’m taking it easy as I want to get my form back after too many years off after my fractured hip…that and progressing years means I can’t do a solid 6 hours a day anymore…more like 4 max.

It’s all Unreal Engine 7, on an RTX9090 with 128GB VRAM…getting a good 1fps too 😁

Although, Billy Big Boots here tweaked his shoulder after a tumble yesterday - will take the day off to see if it gets better (top of arm and shoulder are both swollen & bruised, but could just be muscular), otherwise it’s another trip to my favourite most visited hospital 😤

You’re definitely ahead of me.

I’ve tweaked my right shoulder while sleeping. I’d like to think I was fending off an army of vampires while I slept with a silver broadsword, in a sort of automated natural physical response based on decades of expert training.
