Optimus VII - impressions

Just wanted to give a quick update:
I got my Optimus VII 17.3" and there is not a baclight bleed to be found! The screen is amazing.

Does anyone on here know if this backlight bleed affects how photographs are portrayed on the screen - does it show up in the printing of the photograph or does it just show up on the screen .
Is this backlight bleed a curse of just 17" screens or all sizes - and is it prevalent in all brands of laptops ?

It only affects the screen, so it won't affect what photos look like when printed or when viewed on other screens.
