Ordered spec - What do you think?

I have a Costco membership, got it with a 3rd of the price off so I am happy with the monitor, it fits into his space in his room perfectly.
Even with a third off, it's still painful to see £200+ being spent on a 1080p monitor. Doe he game professionally and need the crazy fps for financial rewards?

If this is just gaming for run then it's really a waste of cash.

There's no way whatever space he has will fit a 27" monitor on to let you get into the realms of 1440p 144hz? If that space will never fit a 27" monitor on then there's really no need to spend more than £1500 on the pc and even that's going slightly overboard.

Like seriously, did you not read the above links as to why not Intel, 7th post on this thread, my 3rd.

Read them and then think about it.

Also you have a budget of £2300, does that include screen or not?

budgets need to be balanced, not just all cash on performance, but also cooling, Display quality, peripheral quality etc
Ok.

i will re-read. I want to keep the budget around £2000. I have the monitor already.

If you have £2000 total, you’d get a better overall experience if the monitor and build match. £1700 can get you a fantastic build and £300 can get you a good 1440p monitor to go with it.

how much room do you have? It is possible to have a second screen?

I’m sure the guys/girls on here can put together a really good 1440p build for you for around £1700. Or you could really just save money and just target 1080p gaming. But here is a really great monitor.
