Overnight rethink - quick check needed, plus does this monitor go with spec?

Hi, had great advice on here (thanks @Nursemorph @Scott) and after sleeping on it decided to go from 75Hz to 144Hz spec meaning an upgrade of graphics card and monitor. 90% there so appreciate a once over on spec and check on 144Hz monitor - the one I wanted was AOC G2590PX 24.5” but that’s out of stock, can get elsewhere so appreciate a confirm that it’d work with the spec? (have put in IIYAMA £233 on spec but not really wanting a 27”) - any thought on other monitors (flat, integrated speakers, max 25”)? See link at bottom for spec.

Also, any thoughts on the case - good enough? Or better options (not ones with loads of flashing lights though!)

Budget around £1300 (about £200-250 for monitor). PC is for 12 year old son for gaming, streaming and (hopefully) some schoolwork.

I think with the flat screen I’m trying to keep some semblance that this isn’t just a PC just for gaming- !? But see your point re it limits options.

Thanks for monitor recommends that go with the spec, will opt for one of these.
