Yeah, the monitor is something I think I will almost certainly look to upgrade at some point, what kind of price point are we looking at for a suitable one?
If it ends up being too expensive, should I just opt for a RX 6600 instead?
"at some point" is the main issue here. You need to define it. If you're talking a couple of years down the line, there's no point in spending on the 3060Ti.... as by then the 4060 will be out, cost the same and be FAR more powerful. Always better to get what you need now, as you can update the GPU down the line when you upgrade the monitor.
2060 is an overpowered 1080p card. It'll actually get you in the door of 1440p. It's what I would get looking for good performance at 1080p. The 6600 is a good 1080p card also but I tend to favour the feature set of Nvidia.
