When you click proceed after choosing your build you get the message about drives and the OS at the bottom of that is a drop down menu where you can select drive for OS.

Many thanks again... will do that. I've also added a note to PCS asking for the operating system to be added onto the appropriate drive.

PCS would by default add the operating system to the fastest drive...in identical drives, it would be added to the smaller of the two. However, it doesn't always happen that way in practice...there have been builds where it's been put on the bigger drive so a note is worthwhile/
I think if you have 1st and smaller M.2 that would be used to install OS with no question. 2nd is left larger for everything else. Either way, it's still recommended to reinstall Win on the new PC to have a fresh install. So during that process we can format the disk where the unwanted OS is and install it to the disk where we actually want the OS to be.

Well my constant forum spamming has finally paid off and PCS seem to have realised that I'm just simply not going to spend any more money....

Please all pray (not that I'm religious, but if you are then all the better) for a quick and solid build, no errors in testing and a considerate delivery driver!

I called them this morning to be sure it would go on the 512gb M.2. But yes, what you stated would to me make more sense than to do it the other way around.
