PC Build for getting into 3d modelling and animation. £1750 - £2000

Monitors: Dual AOC Gaming Q27G2U 1440p monitors

Usage: Going to be using it for getting in to 3d modelling and animation using blender and unreal engine 5, also a bit of gaming.

Budget: I was aiming for £1750 but overshot it a bit. Want to keep it under £2000.

I am not exactly an expert on configurations like that, but from what I know, you should try to put in an NVIDIA GPU, which is significantly better performing than AMD for the tasks you've mentioned.

Unfortunately, NVIDIA is more expensive, therefore I was considering these two options to stay below £2000.
The first has 32GB of RAM, a better/newer cooler, and a 1200W PSU, which provides more flexibility for future upgrades, whilst the second has 64GB of RAM but an older cooler model and a lower capacity PSU, which may limit future upgrades.

That is only my opinion, and I'm sure that other regulars will offer you valid/better alternatives.

With a slight edit to @Ekans2011's builds above, you could get a 16-core CPU and a better cooler, with a lower-tier motherboard. X870 is great, but I think it's questionable whether you'll derive significant benefit from it, whereas the 16 cores of the 7950X would be amazing for your purposes.

Personal preference, I get it.

I'm the opposite: if I can't have top performance while keeping temperatures under control (for me, this means a Δt of at least 10°C), I'd rather have lower performance (9700X) with low temperatures than a monster (7950X) running consistently close to the stated Tjmax of 95°C.
