Even if you get a steam version of WatchDogs you will still have to run it through UPlay I think though?

Ubisoft just love their DRM.... :/

Uplay is a lot better than it was at first. I don't mind it now, as it is just like an EA game that required Origin to open even from Steam. Also, I thought they changed it so you can be offline (like Steam) and still play Uplay stuff, so not true DRM (might be wrong on that'un)

Aye that's right as far as I know, you'll still need to use Uplay. Still think uplay is pants myself - but I only use it when I absolutely have to (I never open it on its own, always via steam).

I quite like Uplay, I used to play black flag offline so im assuming watchdogs will be the same. I guess it required internet log in once a month at least or something

Ah crap I entered my age wrong :/. Now I can't view it, its cool though I already have it. Definitely recommend it if you like horror games, from what I've played I prefer it to 2033
