Co-opThe entire game can be played solo or in two-player co-op mode. This is a departure from the past two games. In Far Cry 3 there was a separate 4-player co-op campaign, and in Far Cry 4 you could play side missions in 2-player co-op. It'll be interesting to see how co-op works for the entire game this time around.
This.

Also some level of character customisation will be possible. Score.

Far Cry 5 releases on February 27th, 2018.
I may even have the cash to buy it by then.

What did we all buy?

I bought:
Planet Coaster
DOOM
All the STALKER games
Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime
Roundabout
A Story About My Uncle
The stuff I was missing from the Half Life franchise
Slayaway Camp

And a bunch of little puzzle games.

In total 28 new games. What have I done :O

I was very tempted by DOOM and the Stalker series. But have a few too many already on my list to play - so being a tightwad decided to wait until they are cheaper still. Looks like you have a good haul!

I did treat myself to Rage (£1.99), MGSV: Ground Zeroes (~£3) since I've never played a metal gear game, and the Light and Dark steam bundle with Valley and Slender The Arrival (£3.74). Plus some bundlestars bundles where I'll run the games in the background while doing other things to sell on the cards.

Does that still work? I thought they changed it to be based on activity. I used to use idle master but it stopped working.

I've never used idle master but I've run a fair amount of games recently in the background with my GPU set to power saving (such that it uses no more juice than just normal desktop use) and got cards. Recently as in a few days ago.

Edit: thinking about it even just running the launchers:

has been fine.

Cool though if you're leaving the computer on to do it, I'd wonder whether its profitable after factoring in electricity costs. I've been thinking about that a lot since I started mining. So far I've made between £25-30 worth in Ethereum for about £10 in electricity.

I only run them while using the PC for other things. Most of them don't create any extra load when minimised and for those that do I have Nvidia Inspector's multi-GPU power saver switched on to force the GPU to run at low power anyway. So the energy cost is almost 0 (tiny bit of extra CPU load I guess)

Mining seems quite popular at the moment but I can't quite find the time to look into it.

Yeah that's fair enough then.

It's not too difficult to set up. Took a couple of hours for me.

Not sure how profitable it will be on your 970. It runs considerably better on AMD, For example my R9 390 beats out a 1080 by about 50%, despite overall being a significantly weaker card.

Yeah, that was the other thing. My 970 SSC was a clear winner (in my favourite titles anyway) over the R9 290 when it launched but the green team isn't the miner's choice. Will be interesting to see how that affects Vega sales and availability.
