Ah, but with enough players of Hitman, Yakuza, etc. then there'll be plenty of cleaning to go around...although the "got murdered to death by the first bad guy I met...so want my money/life/soul back"!

I'd love to help out, but an old war wound (an arrow in the knee) means I'm desk-bound.

Resident Evil as a franchise is the one that pretty much brought survival horror into mainstream gaming. The last few games have been really good (7 and Village especially!), but the older games haven't really aged all that well, which is a big part of why Capcom have been remastering them to add the quality of life improvements that recent games have. These improvements were definitely missing in the games from the 90s. The bundle has most of the remasters and so would be a good place to start if you were serious about trying Resident Evil.

Is this a genuine proclamation? If so, I think we need to get some support round to you immediately, you're not safe!

Get to the nearest high end gaming PC, call in to work, tell them you're going to need a few weeks off as you've not played Resi (it's government law to give mandated time off for anyone who's not played classic games titles), draw the curtains, turn the lights off, and immerse yourself in the gritty darkness!
