That is better and it makes me think there's hope in the world yet! But my lack of wanting to make any more accounts still makes me not want to shop there, I had way too many accounts before even hearing about the whole tax-dodging any ways.

Any more accounts!

I've got a username/password record (in case I forget) that stretches across 4 screenshotted pages! :)

Ok, so most you wouldn't show your own mother, but still, having an Amazon account/log in etc can't be that much of a stretch :D

4 pages? that is a lot of accounts, I only use 2 passwords on most of my accounts.

Yeah, maybe not. But recently I've started typing in log ins for certain sites and using the details of a complete different site I'm signed up to. Just a few days ago I found myself typing in my account details from this forum into another forum even though the usernames and passwords are vastly different. It was a moment worthy of the biggest face palm yet in my life, or maybe just multiple consecutive ones. :D

Always fancied the witcher series. Should start with the first or just jump strait into the second one? Heard the 1st one is a bit glitchy and iffy on the combat?

Also is it all talking or is relading involved?
Is it a point and click like Diablo or what would you compare it to?
Does it carry saves from game to game?

Im loving the second one. Never played the first either. Took me a while to get used to the menus, using potions, spells, traps and prepping for battle properly but its worth it. Lots of cut scenes which make you feel like you're part of the story. Only down side is that you need a behemoth of a PC to run at ultra and enjoy its visual splendour. My laptop can only manage High, still looks great though.

I'd say its 70% action 30% cut scenes

Maybe compare it to a 3rd person Skyrim with slicker graphics but more on the rail than open world. The characters and story are great + adult content.

Do you mean can saves be used from the first one to the second one? I don't know. Think its a very different story.

UH NO, your Lappys higher spec than mine so i might go for the first one at the moment. Thinking about hitting PCS up for a desktop soon so could wait for the Desky to get the second one.

The first witcher is more difficult and the gameplay is slightly different as i play it with an isometric viewpoint and the second is more over the shoulder. The combat is harder and relies heavily on timing your strikes. There is no controller support of any kind.
The first one also suffers with pacing there is a swamp section that really drags but after that it is supposed to get very good again. I say supposed because I have been stuck in those swamps for years. All dialogue is voiced and is very good.

They are both good games but be prepared if you start at the second one you will struggle with the first.

Dont worry about performance, the 2nd game looks good on all settings but you just wont be able to run on ultra probably a combination of high with some medium.

So should I buy FFVII? I've heard great things about it but I dunno... because just cause 2 is sitting there at a measly £2.50 too...

FFVII is my all time number 1, i even have one of the main character Sephiroth Tattooed down my forearm =D (Thats not how i rate games by the way =D)

Its got a great story, easy to learn the controls, characters are awesome and for an experienced RPG gamer has about 19 hours of gameplay. My first ever was about 32, even after you finish theres bosses in the world that you can still go out for a challenge.

I've finished it so many times on the PSP for £4.99.

That graphics are terrible though and they have not revamped them in anyway. There are mods out there but not sure if there Steam compatible.

Smoke is right, this is a great game, however if you don't like dated graphics, stay away and also if you don't like turn/time based combat stay away.

Everyone who I talk about it to recommends FFVII to me as I've never played it. Everyone says the same as Smoke, just about. The only thing that deterred me was the graphics and I'd jump at an improved and more bearable edition in regards of better graphics, most likely.

Everyone says it's the best of all the FF games and I've seen numerous game websites (some time ago now) that praise it highly. I've never personally heard a bad word about it besides the graphics which is mostly one of my own problems with it and not really something others bring up to me.

Yeah agreed the graphics would put me of if i hadn't played it before, its kindo a nostalgic game for me so graphics don't bother me too much. I would recomend Final Fantasy VIII for folk that really hate the graphics there was a major jump in standard of graphics between the two however this is only on Disc copy at the moment unless you have a PSP or PS3

Hmm tbh I don't care too much about graphics as long as it has a good story and it's fun, graphics have never put me off a game tbh, some of my best days of gaming were with 8 bit mario and Sonics glory days.

I'd say go for it then, the one thing I find to have the highest praise in that one is the story, going by whom have spoke with me about it.

Is it still worth getting Arma 2? I've never played it but have seen bits and bobs about it. I don't really have a great M+K or a great setup so FPS gaming isn't that great for me at the moment. Should I get it anyway?

Its probably worth it for the Day-Z mod alone. In anycase it itsnt a twitch shooter.

This was another reason for wanting it. However with the standalone coming out soon I was trying to hold off from playing Day-z! (I assume that's why Arma could be on sale because people are using similar thinking). Hmmm.. I'm meant to be saving...
