I remember the thread about the game, so knew the game was already on your radar. As you say, it seems like they've pulled it off. The negative reviews acknowledge that the enemy design and world design are great, but the combat is repetitive and AI isn't so good in places. Reminds me of Ghostwire Tokyo in that respect.
