Pc locked

No idea what has happened but my pc no longer recognises my pin / password I did a reset but this has still not worked.
Will a factory reset as if I'm selling my pc get rid of the pin number / password.

Presuming you're using a MIcrosoft account to log into your PC have you tried using the 'Forgot Password' option.

Are you saying the Microsoft account password and the pc password at the point you turn the pc on are the same

Yes.

Well that today work either, I even changed the Microsoft password online on my phone. If I factory reset my pc as if I was selling it, I know it will get rid of everything will it get rid of the password and pin number

Which password/pin are you referring to? Are you talking about the logon screen for windows or are you talking about a bitlocker key?
