PC won't boot

Hi guys,
I hope someone might be able to help me diagnose this problem.
I had PC Specialist build me a cracking desktop a few years which has been an absolute work horse for ages, but just recently it's decided to not boot.

When I turn it on, the power light comes on, the fan on the motherboard spins up, then it turns off, on again, and loops.

Here's a couple of videos of what's going on...

I've replaced the battery on the motherboard, hoping that it would be a simple fix, but it's obviously isn't.

Anybody have any suggestions as to what might be going wrong here?

Thank you!

Try taking out all the RAM and then trying it with one slot at a time to make sure they all work individually.

I believe this can point to a RAM issue.

Hi there, thank you for the suggestion.
Sadly, it didn't work.
I tried both pieces in both slots, moved them around, tried them on their own in each slot too, but the same result every time :(

Thank you anyway.

Sadly, no LEDs on the motherboard are lighting up before the computer powers down and cycles again.
Looks like I need to find a PC repair guy...

Thanks for your help anyway guys,

00 sometimes means dead gpu, tried pulling the Gpu and using the onboard iGPU and see if it posts.

Best way to debig a system is to remove everything, then add one thing at a time, so remove litteraly all of it, just the cpu left on the main board, boot see what beep/light/postcode you get, if it doesn't beep or post code then it's likely the cpu or main board, only way tk troubleshoot that is with a known good cpu or main board. If it does beep/postcode, add one stick of ram, if it does add second, if does add gpu, etc etc, till you find the hit causing the issue.

Take tha chance to grab some air and clean everything as you go too, and alcohol wipe the contacts on the cards/ram

Hi there,
thank you for the suggestion, I tried popping out the GPU, but it's still doing the same thing.
Time to find a PC repair guy, this is way beyond me now.

Thank you everyone for your help!

it might be dead mobo, but thats the last worst scenario, did you tried taking out cpu as well?

This kind of stuff is beyond me at the moment, I'm juggling working from home with two kids, and I'm just not going to have time to do this properly. I appreciate all your help though guys.

Cheers,
Ewan
