Sorry, don't understand what you mean? The second drive sits on top where the SSD currently is. The SSD needs to be moves to the SSD mount point inside the case.

The SSD shouldn't be there, you can see the SSD mounts in the normal compartment, just mounts to the side of the case.

i mean the area in green is free sort of but on top of the cage in yellow is my ssd just so your clear

Yes, I understand, you need to move the SSD to the SSD mount point in the case, and then the 3.5 goes where the SSD currently is if you can't fit it in the cage

They're screws, just look at it, you'll see them.

ive looked deep and hard and dont see any ...

It’s not ideal but as an SSD doesn’t have any moving parts there no reason why it couldn’t just sit in the case atop the shroud.

no what i want is a 3.5 hdd but from the photos ive provided is there room ? i cant see ant screw holes on the pcs branded 256gb ssd so cant remove it from top of shroud

And what I was saying is that when you remove the SSD that’s currently in there, it can then live in the case.

SSDs will likely be housed in an adaptor which allows them to fit in the drive cage. It will either unclip or have screws which will allow you to remove it. You may have to move some stuff about but there’ll definitely be one of those two options above.

ive just cleaned all back out and i dont see any screw holes or any push thing or anything of the sort would they have stuck it ?

ok i think ive got you ,,, so if it dont fit withthin the cage ill have to remove the ssd on top in order to make room for the hdd
