Imagine if you went to a restaurant and paid £1500 for your meal. Then they got the dish wrong and you had to get up and take the plate over to the manager yourself to complain and get it changed, then they did it three times. You'd just get up and leave... Anyway! Having worked in catering myself I can say that when one thing goes wrong for a table - everything else does too. It's not done on purpose, it's just sod's law and it's not pleasant for either the business or the guest. I'm sure PCS didn't intend for the mistakes to happen, and hopefully everything will be sorted amicably soon

oli090, irrespective of your problems which sound like they're on the way to being resolved now, the way in which you say things goes a LONG way in life, yes it's frustrating and sometimes unacceptable when things go wrong but your attitude, tone and general approach to dealing with the problem can help loads.
I'm not at all suggesting PCS would treat you any differently due to this because they're a very professional company, but a lot of places WILL, and I worked in retail long enough myself to know you're much more likely to go beyond the call of duty for someone if they're calm and polite on the phone (you've said you lost your temper a few times) as it makes everybody's life easier.
So I am sorry to hear you've had a bad experience but nothing is perfect all of the time, things don't always go smoothly. That is unfortunately life, you say you're young, I dunno how young but seriously the sooner you take that on board the better things will be for it!

That's your choice, but it's not going to make your parcel arrive any quicker. What it will do is stress you out and irritate the guy/gal on the other end of the phone.
I wouldn't blame anybody for shouting at say a PPI claims company on their third cold call of the day (though personally I find it easier to just hang up
) but it isn't going to change anything, is my point, and this is hardly the same scenario.
