Pre production working days

My experience A customized laptop Order made two weeks ago , 6 working days for building&test&sending and normal transit times for the delivery.

I went into build just now 😃

First estimated date was July 3rd, yesterday it was the 2nd and now I'm in build. So as others have reported, they are making up time recently.

You might get yours on Thursday at this rate. Mine went to build and test finished testing within 14hours yesterday and is being dispatched soon today for arrival tomorrow.

Seems quite a lot are being built within 21 working days... I’m on 22 working days and still preproduction 🙁 starting to get gaming withdrawals now 😂

Have you got a predicted build time from PCS? you should be receiving them every 5 days, which will give you a much better idea of how far along you are! :)

Mine just went into building on the 22nd working day.

A few hiccups over the five day emails and stock, but very happy so far!

I’m just happy I amended my order from the i9 10900k to the i7... the out of stock waiting time was atleast another 2-3 weeks.

Yeah they’re definitely working hard and ahead of schedule, my order wasn’t supposed to be built until tomorrow but it got built yesterday WD 23, and is now awaiting dispatch WD 24, excited, hats off to PCS.

Got email this morning that mines been pushed back to Monday 6th (WD 22) now from tomorrow! :cry:

So close yet so far...

Went into building and testing on the 22nd working day. Was packed and dispatched on the 23rd.

Should be arriving in 1 hour via DPD on the 24th working day!

It was originally predicted to be built today so hats off to PC Specialist!

Thanks for all the help along the way from Scott, Spyder and nurse in particular! It was greatly appreciated. I'm very happy with my build.

Have read the email and been told already to DP into GPU and not MB.

Got an anti static glove/thing

Updating windows and updating windows and updating windows after completing the initial setup.

Have 3d mark and the other mark's to download from steam.

Update Nvidia drivers?

Do I need icue(?) for the cooler?

Then I'll download my software I need for work.

Yeah, check nvidia experience is installed and that will control your gpu driver updates.

I would personally recommend installing iCue, if you've got a i series corsair cooler, it's fantastic at monitoring temps and controlling fans, as well as checking general system metrics.

How long did you wait for dispatch, mines been ready since 8am but haven’t received a update, guess mine not coming till after weekend now ☹️

DPD only collect once a day, or it may even be less at the moment depending on staffing issues etc, so usually they're collected after 3pm and you'll get an email once they're collected.
